It's safe to say that I am experiencing a severe travel bug; all I want to do right now is hop on a plane and get lost somewhere haha. So... here are some more pics of Scotland, one of the favourite places I visited when I was living abroad. Scotland is such a diverse place. From stone cities to rolling green hills and snow-peaked mountains, it really has it all. We traveled to the highlands to check out Glencoe and Lochness. I also just discovered, after it all, that part of Harry Potter was filmed at Glencoe... cool!!
Side note, the above shot is of a typical highland cow... or a "harry coooooo" as the Scots call them.
I've been watching this documentary by a couple of Canadian boys called "Departures". If you haven't seen it yet, it's a must. These two guys in their mid to late twenties embark on a year-long trip across the world. It's truly incredible and brought back a ton of memories of the trips I took 5 years ago while living overseas. I highly recommend it. Last week was a postless week because of various personal reasons... one, I was sick and am only now recovering, and two, work started back up again and lots of time was spent planning. But I'm back! Inspired by the show, here is another post of my experience in Europe.
